By downloading and using Clar, you agree to the terms of both of those documents. They are simple, and mainly just state that Clar does not collect any data from you or your devices, and also that you are responsible for any data you use or create with Clar. They also state that you use Clar at your own discretion, as-is.

Clar uses Ffmpeg to process audio files.

Clar uses Ffmpeg to process audio files. Ffmpeg is a free, open-source, cross-platform audio tool. It is used to convert audio files to a variety of formats, including MP3, AAC, and WAV. Ffmpeg is licensed under the LGPL and GPL.

It does not bundle the FFmpeg binaries with Clar. If you do not already have FFmpeg installed on your machine, you will be prompted to install it when you first launch Clar. You can change the installation location in the Settings panel at any time.

Clar is Beta software.

It is not notarized for running on macOS. To open the software, you will have to right-click and select "Open" from the Finder context menu.
